Since early 2005, The
Dive Connection has had its own 5 a side football team. They play regularly on a Tuesday night in a local Portsmouth 5 a side league and have since progressed up the league table. Many of the regular customers of The Dive Connection followed the team's progress by word of mouth, but as the team grew and began to play other matches against local kids charities and other teams, it was clear that the team needed their own web presence. Keeping the team colours of orange and dark blue, we designed a simple site that provides some background to the team, their players, a fixture table, results tables from all the seasons played with final position and a reports section where summaries of all the games can be found. In the future, a photo gallery will be added so that pictures from games can be shown as well as the post-match write ups. The team has found that the site is an excellent way to keep the team and it's supporters up to date and interested in what's going on. They have also realised that it is a great way to spread news of the team further than local word of mouth can. |
