Having completed a website for The Dive Connection football team, we became aware that the other football club that some of the TDC players were involved with needed a website for their team.

Whiteley Football Club currently play two teams in the City of Portsmouth Sunday Football League. They already had a website, but it had not been updated for many months and the team needed a hub where fixtures, results and match reports could be posted, along with a method of announcing team selections that removed the need for e-mail lists, which were notoriously divisive and unreliable.

We offered to create a site for the club, and keeping the team colours of light and dark blue, we sourced the domain name whiteleyfootballclub.co.uk, created the site and hosted it for them.

The site features the essentials of fixtures, results tables etc., but also includes an online community forum where team members can chat, hurl taunts at one another and arrange social events. More importantly, the team managers and club administrators have a vehicle to communicate with the whole club and squad members easily and quickly.
